Our Story
Busy Bee Tutoring originates from a dedicated teacher's dream while serving in the public school system. The main goal always has been and will continue to be-- providing students the best opportunities to gain confidence in their learning.
With humble beginnings, Mrs. Williams built and paved her own educational path toward success. She served in AmeriCorps, also known as the domestic Peace Corps, where she dedicated over 1000 hours of volunteer service to children K-4th grade that were struggling readers. Later, she gave back to her community and focused on newcomer students. Not only did the students learn English with Mrs. Williams standing by their side, she was able to assist them in the science lab, history, and math classes at the high school level. After a few years, Mrs. Williams used that momentum to continue her studies and graduate from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She was successful in earning her Masters in Education and her teaching credentials.
It has now been over 10 years of combined classroom experience and private tutoring in California and Florida with children of all ages. With all that experience in her toolbox, Mrs. Williams finally took the leap to establish her virtual tutoring business. Mrs. Williams admits that it would not have been possible without the love and support of her husband, Mr. Williams.

The Vision
The vision includes teaching over a virtual platform to reawaken the excitement of reading and learning. To provide intentional teaching that is driven by evidence-based instruction and scientific research like "The Science of Reading" to offer the best opportunities for each child. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that exceed their expectations.
Services
A variety of personalized and interactive lesson plans centered around your learning goals and your child's interests. Whether the goal is to improve reading comprehension or phonemic awareness, we can help! If your child has an interest in dinosaurs or outer space, we will embed that in their lessons to make their tutoring session a pleasant learning experience.
Depending on your child's needs, multiple sessions are offered throughout the month to provide your student with the greatest opportunity of showing continual growth. You will talk this over with Mrs. Williams after the first assessment session where goals will be set forth with Busy Bee Tutoring and your child's commitment.
